This morning we continued to read our teacher read aloud of Wonder.  What a fantastic book!!!!  Please ask your child about Auggie meeting Mr. Tushman.  Once we read a bit of our book we started to look into "Random Acts of Kindness".  Watch Elora's video explain our group project on kindness.

The students continued to work on their inquiry project this afternoon.  The brochure, posters, video, speech, and website are all coming along really well.  I can't wait to see everyone present their project.

We talked as a class about "Random Acts of Kindness".  Please ask your child what this means.  I have asked the students to continue with these acts throughout the weekend and during the month of October (and hopefully beyond).  The students will write these acts of kindness on a piece of paper and place them in a jar.  I'm hoping over the course of October that this jar will fill up with little green pieces of paper.

Notes:

1. There is no school on Monday.
2. Scholastic book orders are due Tuesday.
