Friday November 13th, 2015

This morning we continued with our Friday rotations; coding, french, handwriting, and art.

This morning in coding students created a Scratch program and we will being saving this program on the internet next week.  If your child would like to change their program , or try a new one, they are encouraged to work on this on the weekend/next week.  Please see below for some videos/pictures of the students coding.

In french class students watched a french video with people talking to one another in french. We also asked each other questions in french, in which we had to respond in french.  We also listened/watched a song that counted to 10 in french.  Please see below for one of the videos

In art class we drew a winter tree and then we put a sunset behind the tree.  Next week we will finish this project by using oil pastels to colour in the branches, sky, and ground.

Please see the blog from yesterday for Families Helping Families google document.  Can you please type your child's name next to the item that you are willing to purchase to help out the family.

Have a great weekend!
